Pulka ski expedition on the North Pole

The short expedition in Greenland which I undertook with Dixie and a few others remains one of the most memorable voyages that I ever undertook. The delight of experiencing the polar nights and the sheer beauty of the frozen landscape, but also the constant fight against the cold and the fellowship built up in dealing with hostile elements remain lasting impressions on me.

To be a companion of Dixie is a true privilege which I did enjoy beyond the polar circles. Even when surpassing himself, he knows perfectly well the human limits in extreme hostile conditions and never will overstep the bounds when Nature & Ice take over command ... His charming wife Julie and daughter Robin are the two helpful secrets of his happiness and charisma.

Dixie is a great expedition leader with an impressive track record. What attracted me is that despite his world class level and experience, he can really grow people like you and me towards achieving a dream of enjoying a polar expedition. Dixie takes into account your personal fitness level and expedition experience and guides you upfront and during the expedition to your full potential. Moreover, he really succeeds in bringing a group together and instilling the values of the wild nature. Beyond the expedition, you learn about yourself, extreme nature and team spirit. In short, I can highly recommend an expedition with Dixie, who is a down to earth class act.
