Description

Rock climbing is an amazing outdoor activity. It is thrilling and can take you to some of the most beautiful places in the world. It is also a sport that requires constant improvement. As a result, I am happy to offer this 2-day rock climbing training program that will focus on many important fundamentals. Furthermore, this course takes place in the gorgeous Canadian Rockies near Jasper in Alberta.

Each session will focus on different fundamentals, all of which will exponentially help you improve as a climber.

Some examples of what will be covered during this course includes how to properly tie knots, rope safety, multi-pitch strategies, rope rescue techniques and much more.

The course is done progressively. So, as you finish the first course, you can proceed to the second and then to the third, learning newer and more advanced techniques as you go along.

No previous experience is necessary to take the first 2-day course. As a result, it is perfect for inexperienced climbers looking to improve. However, it is important that participants on this trip are in good physical condition, as you will be putting what you learn into practice on various walls in the Rockies of Alberta, near Jasper.

To enjoy this course, all you have to do is send a request. I look forward to guiding you.

I really loved it. Intro to rock climbing was an amazing experience. Explore-share team were so helpful in the process. The trip that I chose in the first place was not available and they managed to find alternatives and offer me the best possible solution in that situation. In the end I had a wonderful day and could not be happier!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

It would have been helpful to know it was suppose to be a Matterhorn prep course. The goals of the group were a little different.
