Upgrade your climbing abilities and strengthen your confidence in the great Canadian Rockies in an action-packed day of climbing geared towards those at the intermediate and advanced level.
Our rock climbing is based around the town of Canmore, which lies in Alberta’s Rockies just west of Calgary. The craggy summits that surround the urban space create a stunning backdrop.
The former mining town has become a quieter alternative to the streams of tourism around Banff, that lies 26 kilometers away.
During the course you’ll lean a broad range of skills, including site safety and emergency protocols; the proper use of equipment; how to place trad gear; build anchors; rock progression and use of ropes.
Depending on the group’s level of ability and experience, the exact location of our climbing may differ. So there are multiple quality locations around the town of Canmore for us to possibly explore. All locations are within an hour’s drive from the town.

I'm a Full Alpine Guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and an Active Member of the Canadian Avalanche Association.
I has climbed across the lower 48 United States, Western Canada, multiple expeditions to Alaska, and Greece. Calling Canmore home, I feel my best attribute is my passion for teaching and sharing what I have learned over the years of being in the mountains. Combining my mountain experience with my thousands of hours as an industrial rope access tech/supervisor, as well as, being a SAR Rope Rescue Leader, my guests can be assured that they are in good hands.
I holds an Adventure Guide Diploma through Thompson Rivers University, which is one of the world’s premiere adventure tourism programs where students spend two years refining their mountain craft and business skills associated with the adventure tourism industry.
I'm proud to be at a point in my career where I can guide full time and I'm able to share my love of the mountains with my guests. I'm always looking forward to the next adventure and building long lasting relationships with my guests. I'm one of those people who’s passion and love for life is contagious.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
