Description

Trekking to the Rooster Comb is an extraordinary experience that is rewarded with spectacular views from the wide top ridge, a few meters from the rocky small summit.

This day-trip is the perfect excuse to gather your friends and family and take them in a different and exciting adventure. Groups may be formed by up to six people. And in case you want to come on your own, it is also a good option.

The Rooster Comb, situated in the Keene Valley, is a semi circled rock face, 80 meters tall, topped by an extensive area of open rock. The view you will enjoy from the peak is one of the most beautiful in the Adirondack Mountains.

Keene Valley, also known as the “Home of the High Peaks”, has 15 of the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks in its region. It is a great place to admire nature and its greatness.

Remember comfortable clothing is very important and a good pair of mountain boots will make the difference.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
