Description

If you plan to come to this amazing region of Austria next winter, I’d like to propose you a real wild freeride skiing trip in Saalbach-Hinterglemm.

Based on the time you have and your wishes, we can enjoy an off-piste skiing adventure together for one or several days. You’ll be guided by myself or one of the other local IFMGA mountain guide of our team. I will take you to the best freeride ski runs and hidden powder treasures that Saalbach-Hinterglemm offers.

This amazing three-resort network connects Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Leogang. These 3 Austrian jewels form a unique landscape where you can live a real free and wild skiing experience, far from the crowds and the beaten tracks.

To give you an idea on the kind of ski day we can have together, please find below an example of the program I run in Saalbach-Hinterglem.

We will meet at the Reiterkogel ski resort at 8:30 A.M so that we have plenty of time to go up to the Reiterkogel’s highest point. Then I will show you some great lines during the first ski runs in the Fieberbrunn Base. After that, we will take a break. In the afternoon, I will guide you around the powder spots of Schattberg and Zwolferkogel. Finally, we’ll have a good time together relaxing and having some fun after such an exciting freeride adventure!

As I said, this region offers endless freeride options for all levels of skiers. You can enjoy a full day of off-piste skiing in the area, in the company of the best local mountain guides.  You can also improve your current technical skills joining us in a challenging off-piste work out. Always with the great option of extending the duration!

Besides that, I and my team know the area very well as we are all locals. Therefore, we can show you the highlights and guide you throughout the wildest points of the area.

All you have to do is to get in touch with me. We will discuss what you want to do and you’ll enjoy some unique backcountry experience with highly trained and fully certified mountain guides!

You can also check out this ski touring program that I lead on Stubacher Sonnblick summit.

Mountain Guide

The mountains have always been a great part of my life. I was a youth leader of the Alpine Association of Zell am See, Bergrettungsmann, and completed the training as a ski and snowboard instructor. I studied meteorology because it can be very useful in mountaineering. My first trips took me to the Eastern Alps, around Piz Bernina and Biancogray. I also had the chance many times the amazing Mont Blanc range and the peaks around Chamonix. Finally, I got to practice in the high mountains of Bolivia and Chile.
I have really found my calling as a mountain guide. I am right where I always wanted to be. The smile on my clients' faces at the summit or after an intense ski day is so rewarding!
I am part of a team of local guides (Bergführer Zell am See Kaprun), all friends of mine, guys with whom I share the passion for the mountains. They are Markus B, Markus H and Gerald, all IFMGA certified guides. Our philosophy is "to know how to do something well is to enjoy it". Therefore, we always keep learning to give you the best experience.
