Seven Falls Trail: Day Hiking near Tuscon, Arizona

There are few cities more connected to the mountains of the United States than Tucson in Arizona. In fact, from the city, you can access no less than five different mountain ranges! As a result, this day long trip, which will take you along the Seven Falls Trail, will give you unparalleled views of several amazing peaks.

The Seven Falls Trail is located in the Sabino Canyon recreation area. And while the area is less than 30 minutes away from downtown Tucson, you can rest assured you will feel completely immersed in nature once you get there.

After making our way along the Bear Canyon Trail, we will then start trekking on the Seven Falls trail. The trail is moderate, and stretches for approximately 13 kilometers. Along the trail, you will get to enjoy several lovely stream crossings. You will also get to admire the trail’s assortment of cacti and cottonwood trees, along with a gorgeous waterfall. And finally, to cool off after the hike, you can enjoy a great swim in the pools beneath the cascading water.
