With 24-hour daylight, you’ll enjoy ski tours on peaks ranging from 600 to 1,000 meters, using zodiacs to reach shore before ascending to enjoy some of the best freeride skiing in the Arctic. The journey starts and ends at Longyearbyen harbor, with ample time to explore the area’s rugged mountains, including Ymer Bukta, Trygghamna, and Dahlbrebukta.

What will a typical day look like?
Each day will begin with breakfast on the M/Y Ocean C, followed by a briefing about the ski touring plan for the day. Afterward, we’ll use a zodiac to land on shore, where we'll climb the coastal mountains by skinning or boot packing, selecting the best ski lines for descent. We typically aim to ski from peaks ranging between 600-1,000 meters high, surrounded by majestic Arctic glaciers.
Given that we will be operating in 24-hour daylight, we might adjust the daily rhythm to make the most of the perfect skiing conditions, ensuring you experience the best of Svalbard’s terrain. After skiing, we'll return to the yacht, enjoy a hearty meal, and share the day’s adventures.

Hi, my name is Juho, a mountain guide originally from Finland. I started to guide when I came to Chile end of 2006. I was a living and working in Chile while I took UIAGM guiding cources in Argentina until 2011. Nowadays I am living on the shore of Lake of Constanz on Swiss-German border. ...and guiding from here in the Alps, Northern Scandinavia and in the Andes. I have also a small guiding company in Konstanz.
