Start your day early in Santiago and head to the mountains in Cajón del Maipo. Enjoy a long day of exploring the stunning scenery, hiking, and skiing. If you decide to extend your trip to two days, we can move you from the city center to Cajón del Maipo and create a personalized itinerary.

What experience and how fit do I need to be to climb this mountain?

We welcome skiers and snowboarders of all levels on this trip. We can adjust the itinerary to suit your experience and fitness level. However, previous ski touring experience is required.

How far in advance should I start training and what kind of training do you suggest?

The amount of training you need to do for a ski tour trip will depend on your fitness level. However, it is a good idea to start training at least 6 weeks in advance. Cardio exercises will help you to build up your endurance and stamina, while strength training will help you to build up your strength and power.

Will I need to bring any technical equipment of my own?

I live in Cajón del Maipo, Chile, where climbing opportunities are almost endless!

I do a lot of guiding in South America´s High Mountain, especially on technical routes. I also do rock climbing courses in different parts of Chile and in my city.

During my tours, I try to generate the best experience for my clients, and like to teach them about the cultural and environmental importance of the places we visit.
