Description

If you are looking for a great ski touring experience and a program that does not require expert skills, this is a great option for you. Join me on a stunning ski touring day in Valais, one of Switzerland’s nicest spots.

This program’s main strength is its scenic views and the good quality of skiing it has to offer. It is open for guests who are looking to spend a memorable day up in the mountains.

Note that the focus of this tour is not technical and does not involve “roping up”. So I wouldn’t recommend it for high-paced skiers interested in a descents-heavy program.

To get this program started, I will meet you in Martigny. I recommend arriving in town the night before, so we can make the best of the day starting early in the morning. Later, I will take to different potential sites like Col de St Bernard, Val d’Hérens and Morcle.

While the maximum number of guests per group is 5, the recommended ideal number for a better experience overall is 3.

Mountain Guide

I was born in 1948 and currently live in the Jura mountains, Switzerland. Spending time up in the mountains, in the midst of nature, is what I enjoy the most. It became my most rewarding moment, both privately and professionally. I used to be a full-time Geologist, a profession that taught me the importance of getting to know nature. I later became a mountain guide to bring guests along on this great experience.

In the current phase of my career, I am focused on guiding groups of people interested in appreciating nature through rich tours. I specialize in hiking and ski touring. My tours are designed for slow-paced, short mountain activities. These are perfect for people who want to go on smooth hiking or ski touring programs.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
