This trip is your chance to have an unforgettable winter adventure in Italy. Come with me for an amazing 5-day ski touring trip in Gran Paradiso!
Standing between the Aosta Valley and Piedmont regions, the Gran Paradiso (4,061m) is the biggest mountain entirely in Italy. It is part of the Graian Alps and was first climbed in 1860. Set in a protected National Park (the oldest in the country), this impressive peak is a famous destination among mountaineering and ski lovers.
On this 5-day ski touring adventure we will explore a steep, wild, and challenging mountain terrain. We will reach awesome spots away from the crowds to ski on top-quality powder snow slopes. Furthermore, we will rest in charming mountain huts and enjoy breathtaking views. Keep in mind that you need to be at least an intermediate powder skier with mountaineering experience and a good fitness level join this program.
So, if you want to discover one of the most beautiful regions in the Alps, please contact me. Let’s have an unforgettable ski touring adventure in Gran Paradiso, Italy!

I grew up in the Allgäu Region in the Bavarian Alps. After finishing my service as a mountain guide in the Army, I moved to Murnau, 20 km north of the highest mountain in Germany (Zugspitze 2964 m).
I live here with my family and have been guiding for the Alpinschule in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for many years. I have also led several Mont Blanc ascents and have climbed 25 mountains over 4000m.
During the summer, I guide mostly in the Region of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. During the winter, I guide mostly ski touring routes in Switzerland and Austria.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
