4 Days

Feb - Apr

Description

Please join me for this unique 4-day ski touring program to the Grand Saint Bernard pass at the border of Switzerland and Italy. This place is cut off from the world more than 7 months a year.

We will be staying 2 nights at the Hospice du Grand Saint Bernard. It’s a magic and confortable place with a very welcoming management. We will finish the cross-country ski tour with a night in the Plan du Jeu refuge. In addition, we will ascend to the Hannibal pass.

This great adventure at Saint Bernard is dedicated to people who already have a fairly good level of off-piste skiing. You also need to have at lease some ski touring experience.

Please find below the program I usually propose. I can of course adapt it based on your time here and on your wishes. The snow and weather conditions might also force us to change it a little.

During this 4-day tour, I will give you the necessary explanations and trainings in order for you to:
– improve your ski touring level;
– assess and manage risks linked to off-piste skiing;
– use efficiently the ARVA (Appareil de Recherche de Victime en Avalanche), the shovel and the probe.

If you are interested by this program, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me. I will guide you there with much pleasure.

What people are saying about Sébastien

Mairi

Our trip in the Silvretta with Sebastien was fantastic. Sebastien used many opportunities to teach us about a variety of skiing and mountain techniques during our tour. If there was good snow to be found, Seb would find it for us. We had a few concerns about his communication prior to the tour, but this was not a reflection of the wealth of experience, wisdom and knowledge that was apparent as soon as we met with him.
