Ski touring in North Norway, 1-week skiing from a sailboat (Self-guided)

We have the advantage of flexibility, so we can choose among several of the amazing options Norway has to offer for ski touring enthusiasts. Depending on your arrival airport, we can go to north Lofoten or Senja, The Lyngen Alps, or Bodo and surroundings.

This program is ideal either if you are a skier looking for a stunning and endless playground to ski on your own, or if you are looking for a guide to show you around and help you discover the region.

The guiding is not included in this program, but we work together with Marius and other local IFMGA guides, so we can help you book their guiding service for the time you’ll be staying on Qilak.

The boat has a capacity for 8 guests and is built especially for the polar regions. This means it’s designed to reach places that are inaccessible to larger ships, and with all the comfort needed to relax after your skiing day.

This is what a day on board of Qilak looks like: we drop you off at the foot of the natural reliefs, in the heart of fjords that are difficult to reach by land. You spend the day enjoying some of the finest ski touring you’ll ever experience, skiing from summit to sea either if you are on your own or with a guide. And when you are back to the vessel, we will be waiting for you. All you have to do is take a hot shower or use the sauna to relax before a delicious meal. The next day, another great day awaits you, to continue exploring all the richness of the Nordic fjords.
