Description
Come with us to Romania‘s stunning mountains as we go in search of awesome powder. Together with one of our experienced guides, you’ll get explore the best of the Făgăraș Mountains.
The Făgăraș are part of the vast Carpathian Mountains and are the highest peaks in this range. They get great annual snowfall and are a skier’s paradise.
This ski tour experience is aimed at skiers who have at least an intermediate level and who are comfortable going off-piste.
We’ll start by taking a cable car high into the mountains to our accommodation. We’ll base ourselves in a hut over the following days as we explore the slopes of Parangul peak. After that, we’ll move to another area to discover the Retezat Mountains and finally, we’ll head to the Valley of the Lady and the Valley of Balii.
Along the way, your guide will be able to share their knowledge of these mountains and also help you with your technique.

Meeting point
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
On your first day we’ll pick you up at the airport and bring you to Petrosani. We’ll check over the gear then jump on the cable car to our first place of accommodation.
Day 2 to 3: Parangul Mountains
We’ll devote our second and third day to exploring the beautiful Parangul Mountains and get in some great off-piste skiing on pristine snow. At the end of day three we’ll move on to our next accommodation spot in the Retezat peaks.
Day 4: Retezat
Day four will be all about the Retezat Mountains. The Bucura area will provide us with awesome snow and great nature.
Day 5 to 6: Făgăraș
On day 5 we’ll transfer to Făgăraș and ski the fantastic Valley of the Lady and the Valley of Balii. Then on the sixth day we’ll explore the Vaiuga Valley.
Day 7: Departure
We’ll say our goodbyes on the last day and leave you back at the airport.
