Description

The Queyras mountains are considered to one of the oldest mountain ranges of the Alps. In addition, the Queyras Regional National Park is one of the most beautiful in France. This is why every year, travellers and adventurers take on the adventure of exploring this unique region. On this specially designed snowshoeing program in Queyras we offer you the chance to discover some its most stunning spots and landscapes.

First, we begin our tour with a short trip briefing and dinner at the hotel in Aiguilles we will be staying in. In order to get there, we offer a transfer service from Turin airport that leaves no later than 4.30 pm. Therefore, if you wish to arrive on your own, make sure to arrange your transfer options in advance. On the following day, we will start on the first of our excursions into the stunning Queyras region. Every day we will walk between 6 to 10 kilometres, with ascents between 500 and 1000 metres. Consequently, we do require a good level of fitness. However, if you don’t have snowshoeing experience then we are more than happy to show you the ropes and you will get the hang of it in no time!

Throughout our excursions we will be going through different landscapes and routes. You can expect to delve deep into forests, as well as to walk through dramatic ridges, and also, to encounter stunning peaks and beautiful valleys. Every night, after a challenging, albeit rewarding, day of snowshoeing, we will return to our warm hotel in Aiguilles where we will share a hearty dinner. This means that although we will work hard to get to those summits and peaks, there will also be room for enjoyment and relaxing.

Ready to embark an adventure of a lifetime? Then book your place now  and join me on this 7 day Snowshoeing program in the stunning Queyras region! I will be happy to guide you on the way!

We were Very pleased With Emma guiding us through the hikes. We really enjoyed the entire trip:) As we were just our family we would have loved a little more flexibility hiking in our own pace - felt we were rushed a bit too much. We should have informed Emma about this but we were too compliant:) The explore-share platform was a bit rigid/ formel - it was not clear that exploreshare hired another firm to do the job. Also quite a High fee to explore share We were first told to have an (expensive) extended travel insurance (with mountain rescue) up to departure / after we had plaid. We should have been told this before signing up. Another mistake were that explore share had told us last payment were due closer to departure - so in a rush we had to pay up 60 days before as this is cloud9advenures policy. This made us uncertain if it was fraud. But it wasn’t:) overall pleased with our trip
