Description

Explore the beautiful Kitzbühel Alps in this amazing snowshoeing tour. Located in the heart of Austria, this fascinating spot in the Alps is ideal for all levels of snowshoe hikers. It has thousands of well-marked trails and paths to explore, going through charming and iconic villages. You’ll be blown away by this white vastness.

We’ll meet in the Steinplatte parking lot, located at 1374 meters above sea level. From there, we’ll ascend past the Durchkaseralmen towards the Windbichl (1513m), where we will be rewarded with gorgeous and peaceful views of the Alps. We’ll then take an uphill and downhill route through Hochwald, that will take us back to our starting point.

During the trip, we’ll be gaining an altitude between 300 and 500 meters, depending on the group’s interest. All skill levels are welcome!
