Are you a fan of beautiful waterfalls? Then you will love this half-day, approximately 4.5 mile hike to the gorgeous Switzer Falls.

Located in the amazing San Gabriel Mountains, near Los Angeles, Switzer Falls is approximately 50 feet high and is nothing short of stunning.

The hike itself is not very difficult. There are only a few technical parts. However, participants on this trip should be in good physical condition.

Throughout the hike you will get to explore and enjoy the wonderful Arroyo Seco Canyon. Within the canyon there are a number of lovely cascades, peaceful streams and punchbowl pools.

The hike itself is quite tranquil. There are some exposed areas, which you can take advantage of by enjoying the expansive views. However, the majority of the trek is shaded. Thus ensuring that even during the scorching days of summer, your trek to Switzer Falls will be relatively cool. And, adding to the coolness, you can even swim in the pools at the bottom of the waterfall.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide.
