Description

This Val d'Aran advanced alpine course will give you the resources you need to safely deal with big mountains!

Please note that this course can only be taught in Spanish. The main goal of the program will be for you to become more self-sufficient in the winter world. Plus I'll teach you the safest way to behave while alone during an ascent. Indeed, it doesn't matter if it is on snow, ice or rock, I'll show you techniques to climb through all of them.

So here are some of the technique that I will teach you:

– Ice axe use in steep slopes.
– Ascent with two ice axes.

– Rope ascent and long progressions.
– Anchor on snow, ice and rock.
– Classic abseiling.
– Roping on glaciers.
– Introduction to self rescue.
– Snow conditions assessment.
– Avalanches prevention and action.
– Transceiver use.
– Planification, schedule analysis, emergency gear, etc.

Moreover, you'll be learning all this while enjoying the amazing Val d'Aran's scenery. Rather than a course it will seem like an expedition, with me helping you out.

So please contact me to make this Val d'Aran advanced alpine course happen. And please specify any requests that you may have, so I can make the proper arrangements in advance.

And if you’d like to check out some of my longer programs, please take a look at my 8-day Mount Cervino hiking tour or my 7-day Chamonix mountaineering course.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
