Let's go to Roca de la Creu in the heart of the Eastern Catalan Pyrenees to spend the day in a thrilling via ferrata experience!
From our meeting point in Ribes de Freser, a brief ten-minute approach brings us to the start of this beautifully equipped route, where over the next two hours we’ll ascend together along a logical, beginner-friendly line complete with a Nepalese bridge and a Tibetan bridge—perfect for families and first-timers alike.
As we climb, sweeping views of the Pyrenees open up before us, bathed in sunshine throughout the cooler autumn, winter, and spring months. After approximately three hours—including a thirty-minute return—we’ll arrive back where we began, brimming with a shared sense of accomplishment.
Open to anyone aged eight and up (with minors joined by an adult) and easily reachable from Barcelona by Renfe R3 or car, this adventure can even be combined with a weekend escape to nearby Vall de Núria.
