Come and enjoy a great experience in a wild but secure environment. Mont La Roche is the perfect place for the practice of via ferrata in France.
This via ferrata adventure I’m proposing you is suitable for all the family. In fact, its walls are well equipped with bridges, ladders and ropes. A safe activity in a wild and natural landscape. The only requirement is to be fit and to be more than 10 years old.
Mont La Roche is located in Ornans, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. This French town offers tourists a wide range of outdoor activities due to its great rivers and surrounding cliffs. That is why I consider Mont La Roche is one of the best sites for the enjoyment of via ferrata.
However, you can choose other great spots of the area where to live your own via ferrata adventure. Please find here below the several options I can offer:
La Roche du Mont, in Ornans;
Via Ferrata of Tichodrome in Noiraigue (Switzerland);
The Ladders of Death, in Charquemont;

As your guide, I will provide you with the proper equipment: helmet, harness, special safety ropes and carabiners. However, you must bring suitable clothes as well as other important gear to guarantee a safe and comfortable experience. Thus, don’t forget to have with you the following personal stuff:
Running or hiking shoes;
Light pants or shorts;
A small backpack with water, snacks and sunscreen.
