Combine hiking with wildlife watching for an unforgettable day out on the Cape of Good Hope!

Situated just 1.5 hours south of Cape Town in South Africa, Cape Hope combines incredible mountain and ocean scenery with some of Africa’s unique and stunning wildlife.

Among the many highlights of our day out will be seeing the penguins at Boulder Beach as well as heading into the Cape Point Nature Reserve. While we’re here, keep your eyes peeled for ostriches, antelope and other animals.

At the bottom of the point, we’ll have the option to make the hike from the stunningly scenic Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope. The hike requires a moderate level of physical fitness, but is well worth the effort, offering numerous views out over the ocean.

From July to November is also the Cape’s whale watching season, so if you visit us then, keep your eyes peeled on the ocean for humpback and right whales breaching.

We’ll cap the day off with a scenic drive back into Cape Town, which offers phenomenal views of he Ou Kaapse Weg mountain pass.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
