A goal for countless climbers from around the world, scaling Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m) is an experience you will look back upon for the rest of your life. And, on this 7-day journey, you will get to reach that summit by way of the Rongai Route.
Rapidly gaining popularity with climbers of Kilimanjaro, the Rongai Route is considered to be one of the easier of the peak’s many route options. Beginning at the north side of the peak, at the Rongai Gate, the climbing conditions along the route are much drier than other routes. However, despite the differences the Rongai Route has with other routes that will take you to the top of Kilimanjaro, one thing it does share with those routes are the unbelievable views you will get to enjoy throughout your trek on it. Moreover, the panoramic views from the summit of the seemingly endless landscape below will take your breath away.
Throughout our trek, we will spend our nights in camping tents. Thus giving you a chance to gaze up at the stars and moon above.
While the climbing of Kilimanjaro does not require any technical climbing experience, it is an exhausting expedition. As a result, participants on this trip should be in good physical condition.
