More Info

Single-pitch climbing, multi-pitch climbing and deep water soloing (DWS) are all popular options in Thailand, a country that has been attracting both tourists and climbers to its paradisiacal beaches for decades. While Railay and Tonsai in Krabi are probably the most famous among foreign climbers, there are many other good options, including Koh Phi Phi, Ao Nang and Koh Lao Liang. The Crazy Horse area, near the city of Chiang Mai in the north of the country, is also an interesting option. Combine your climbing with some relaxing days on Thailand’s famous beaches for a killer combo that is difficult to match!

Really great introduction to outdoor climbing. My partner and I have only ever done indoor bouldering and roped climbing. He is a lot more experienced than me, and climbs at a higher grade, but even he felt challenged with some of the climbs. I managed to keep up (mostly). There were only 4 of us on this trip so we didn\'t feel pressured to have to try and rush the climbs, which is great for a beginner trip. The guide was so patient and encouraging.

We had a really great time, on our climb day. Only thing that was a little weird is that the company didn’t know we were booked for a private climb, I had to ask who our guide was when we were at the pier waiting for the boat, there was confusion because they said we didn’t pay enough for a private tour, even tho I showed them the confirmation email. The guide that eventually was given to us , Joy, was great! We had a two hour break for lunch which was pretty long and didn’t get to climb anymore after, but went to the cave. All in all we enjoyed our day but there were a few hiccups, and confusion
