The mountains of the Suusamyr Valley are located 130 kilometres from Bishkek’s airport. This beautiful valley has an elevation of 2200-2600 metres. Its surrounding mountains reach a height of up to 4500 metres. The valley lies between two ranges of the **Tian Shan mountains**: the Suusamyr-Too to the south and the Kyrgyz Ala-Too to the north.

On the first day, we will meet at the Manas International Airport, 30 kilometres from Bishkek. From there, we will transfer to Suusamyr Valley.

The **Suusamyr Valley in Kyrgyzstan** is a fantastic untouched area, perfect for a ski touring weekend.

This beautiful valley lies between two ranges of the impressive **Tian Shan mountains**: the Suusamyr-Too and the Kyrgyz Ala-Too. It's a great ski touring spot, for its wide diversity of slopes, with different exposition and extension. It's located just 130 km away from Bishkek's airport.

The Suusamyr Valley is situated at an elevation of 2200-2600 metres, whereas the surrounding peaks reach a height of up to 4500 metres.

Most important, in this valley we find a **stable snow cover from the beginning of November until the end of March**. Besides, it offers windless weather. So get ready to enjoy incredible runs an descents on amazing powder!

The Suusamyr Valley is located 130 kilometres away from Bishkek, the capital city of this country in Central Asia. It's situated between the Kyrgyz Ala-Too and the Suusamyr-Too ranges of the **Tian Shan mountains**. The valley lies at an altitude of 2200-2600 m, with surrounding peaks that reach 4500 m.

This is certainly **a unique are for a heliskiing adventure, for its great variety of slopes, with diverse exposition and extent**. Also, it offers stable and windless weather and a stable snow cover during the season. **The Suusamyr Valley in Kyrgyzstan is a beautiful and remote location ideal for winter sports.** Snowboarders, skiers and adventurers explore the region every year to make the best of its snow clad mountains! A lot of unique snowboarding and skiing spots are difficult to access though. It takes a lot of logistics and a good guide! O**n this 8-day Suusamyr Valley guided heliboarding tour I will make sure that you make the most out of the amazing slopes in this breathtaking spot!**

We will begin with a transfer to Suusamyr from Bishkek. Once we arrive, we will settle in and get to know the area and the guides. We will also have a safety briefing to make sure you know all the adequate techniques you will need on your runs! Then, hopefully we will have time to go on the helicopter for our first taste of the mountains! F**rom then on, every day we will follow a similar schedule and we will spend the whole day out on the mountains either snowboarding or skiing**! Snow, weather and group conditions will determine where we go. In the evening, we will return to our base. There, **we will stay at the Too-Ashoo ski resort which also has a bar and sauna!**

Some previous snowboarding experience will be necessary for this trip. Also, we require a good fitness level! Of course you will be able to perfect your techniques on the excursion and **I will be there every step of the way to guide you.**

The **Suusamyr Valley** is located in the **Chuy Region** inside the **Tian Shan** mountain range in **Kyrgyzstan**. It is about **2,000 to 2,500 meters** above sea level and has a width of **3 to 5 kilometers**. The valley is full of magnificent mountains and it is the perfect place for skiing.

**The starting point of our trip will be Bishkek** and from there we will drive to the **Too-Ashu ski resort**. This will be the starting spot for our ascents and descents around the valley. Here you can enjoy **7 kilometers of slopes** and an **altitude difference of about 1,000 meters**. The main ridges of the winter sports area are the **Kyrgyz** and the **Suusamyr Too**.

During the tour, you will find a **wide variety of ascents and descents**. In general, a **medium level of experience** is required. Take into account that the guides can make changes in the tour depending on the snow conditions and group level. Remember that you can arrange one day off to do any other activity that you like.

After enjoying breakfast, you will go to the starting point of the ski tour and begin the ascents and descents. Then we’ll return to the base and have dinner.

The **Suusamyr valley** in **Kyrgyzstan** is a gorgeous area and is absolutely ideal for **ski touring**.

On this **6 day trip**, you will have the chance to **ski** throughout the vast scope of the valley.
