Suchen Sie nach einem unvergesslichen Klettererlebnis in den Berner Alpen? Begleiten Sie mich beim Aufstieg zur Ostwand des Mönch (4.107 m). Da er leicht vom Jungfraujoch aus zu erreichen ist, ist dies eine großartige Option für eine eintägige Alpentour.
Der Mönch liegt im Herzen der berühmten Trilogie, die von den Bergen Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau gebildet wird. Das Gelände ist auch ziemlich einfach, mit einigen kurzen steilen Abschnitten. Die Route wird die normale Route, der Südostgrat, sein. Ich empfehle Kletterern, mindestens ein mittleres Klettererlebnis zu haben.
Zuerst, um das Programm zu beginnen, werde ich Sie in der Nähe des Jungfraujochs um 8.40 Uhr treffen. Danach werden wir unser Ziel verfolgen: den Aufstieg zur Ostwand des Mönch. Ich werde Sie auf einer Wanderung zur Mönchsjochhütte führen, während wir uns entlang der Südschulter bewegen. Ich verspreche Ihnen atemberaubende Ausblicke nördlich von uns. Während wir weiter zum Gipfel klettern, werden wir durch Gneisfelsen und steile Firne gehen.
Sobald wir den Mönch-Gipfel (4.107 m) erreichen, ist der Ausblick atemberaubend. Dank seiner besonderen Lage entlang des nördlichen Alpenrandes bietet er ein unendliches Bild der Zentralschweiz. Später werden wir denselben Weg wieder hinabsteigen.
Ein paar Tage vor Beginn der Tour werde ich die Wetterbedingungen beurteilen und Sie entsprechend informieren, falls Änderungen erforderlich sind.
Schließlich denken Sie daran, dass Sie starke Bergstiefel (für Steigeisen) und funktionelle Kleidung benötigen. Packen Sie auch leicht! Zu den technischen Ausrüstungen, die Sie benötigen, gehören: Steigeisen, Gamaschen, Gurtzeug und HMS-Karabiner sowie ein Eispickel. Ich kann Mietausrüstung zur Verfügung stellen, falls Sie sie benötigen.

I was born in Sörenberg. I owe my love for sports and nature to my father. Ever since I gave my first steps, it was clear that the mountain was my destiny. I received my first harness when I turned 14. What started as a hobby of mine later became my job and professional career – as well as my passion. Climbing for me is pure sentiment. It embodies a deep emotional confrontation with the mountain, life and one self.
I am an all-rounder alpinist, with experience in both ice and rock. When I was 17 years old, I suffered a climbing accident that left me in a wheelchair for some time. Since then, I climbed Eiger mount over 35 times. This mountain became my home and made me a stronger and more confident climber.
Mountaineering has also given me the opportunity of traveling around the globe. I enjoy climbing remote spots, unknown, untouched territory. Freeclimbing is an exceptional practice that I hope to spread as much as possible.
Yet, what is most special to me is sharing these experiences with climbing partners from all over the world. The bond that unites people up in the mountain is extremely special and intense. Fairness and sustainability are two core values to me. In the end, it all comes down to having a fun and joyful climbing experience. Will you join me?

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
