El Monte Manaslu, con sus 8156 metros, es la octava montaña más alta del mundo. Cruza el alto Larkya La y escala este gigante en este largo viaje.

Manaslu significa "Montaña del Espíritu" en el dialecto local. Se refiere a la deidad benevolente y fuerte que reside dentro.

Su ubicación, en el distrito superior de Gorkha, en la esquina del Valle Buri Gandaki, es muy especial. Está a la sombra de montañas aún más altas, en completa soledad. Por lo tanto, disfrutamos de la tranquilidad de la naturaleza dura y hermosa. Además, estamos en la cercanía de la rica cultura budista antigua, religiones, pueblos tradicionales y campos agrícolas con altas terrazas. El ascenso es bastante desafiante. De hecho, es más difícil que otros 8000s. Por eso el ascenso se considera la mejor preparación antes del Monte Everest (que también guío, echa un vistazo aquí).

El Monte Manaslu está cerca del famoso Annapurna: solo a 40 km al este de este. Las montañas alrededor del Manaslu incluyen Ngadi Chuli, Baudha y Himalchuli. Esta increíble montaña está protegida por el Proyecto de Conservación del Manaslu.

Durante esta expedición podrás explorar el área que rodea el Manaslu. Por ejemplo, la ruta principal del Annapurna.

Esta expedición comienza con un viaje pintoresco hasta el bazar de Arughat, un pequeño mercado en el distrito de Gorkha en Nepal. Desde aquí, comienza esta increíble aventura hacia el Campo Base de Manaslu (4800m), pasando por varios pueblos como Jagat, Samagaon.

Por encima del campo base, se establecerán 4 campamentos más: Campo Base Avanzado, Campamento I, Campamento II y Campamento III, necesarios para alcanzar la cumbre.

El programa que propongo dura 49 días. Por supuesto, podemos adaptarlo en función de lo que estés buscando.

I am an IFMGA/UIAGM certified mountain guide and an instructor guide. I started my career in the mountaineering and adventure sector in 1998 and since then I have been on the continuous journey of learning, training, exploring, and enjoying about the mountains.

I have guided several successful climbing expeditions in the Himalyas including Everest- 4 times, Makalu, Dawalagiri, Manaslu.... and other 7000 and 6000 m peaks. I am among the first batch of IFMGA/UIAGM guide from Nepal.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
