A jewel of the Bolivian Andes

The Pequeño Alpamayo is 5425 meters high and is located in the Condoriri Massif, in the Cordillera Real of the Bolivian Andes. Its name is due to its resemblance to the ‘original’ Alpamayo peak in Peru. The mountain climbing tour usually begins in the country’s capital, La Paz. This city is located at a very high altitude (3700 m) so it will be necessary to consider one or two extra days for acclimatization.
