Hochgall Peak, or Colallto, as it is also known, is the highest mountain of the Rieserferner Group, and because its north face is covered in ice, it is known for its sparkle and shine under the sun.

How to get there
You will need to drive or take a taxi from Bruneck to get to Hochgall. However, there is a bus to the nearby Riva di Tures
At 3,436 m (11,273 ft), Hochgall Peak stands tall and boasts interesting rocky ridges and icy walls for experienced mountaineers that like challenging mountain climbing alternatives. There are several routes to the summit, on the Italian side they tend to be rockier, and on the Austrian side, they tend to be icier.
