Parrotspitze has a fascinatingly unique shape that changes depending on the angle of approach one takes to it. From the West or East it looks like a pyramid, from the North it takes the form of a hump, and from the South it appears as a sheer rock face. This makes the mountain an appealing photo location, and is a reason for its appeal and popularity to many climbers.
