Artful valley
Ponte di Legno is part of the Val Camonica, or Camonica Valley, which is one of the largest valleys of the central Alps. It is around 90 kilometers (56 miles) and features a number of UNESCO sites. There are stone carvings that make up the largest collection of prehistoric carvings in the world, while the valley as a whole is protected as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
