Tajik Pamir contains Peak Kommunizma, one of the five 'Snow Leopard' mountains, designated to the five highest peaks in the former Soviet Union, and is indeed the highest mountain in Tajikistan. How to get there

Fly to Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan, and then fly via helicopter to the base camps of the respective mountains

July-August, when the weather is best and also because these are the only 2 months that tourists are allowed to climb here
