Rock Climbing in Margalef

Although its official name in Catalan is Margalef, it is also known as Margalef de Montsant. It is a magnificent location of Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain), especially perfect for the practice of rock climbing.

Margalef is famous for its conglomerate stone. Here you can enjoy all kinds of slopes, but most of the routes involve vertical walls and sometimes overhanging pitches. Around 80% of the rock climbing routes in Margalef are 20 meters high, but you can also find routes 6 of meters or higher ones, up to 45 meters.
