Description

Considered one of the finest ski resort areas in all of Japan, Hakuba is the perfect place to enjoy some tremendous snowboarding. And on this full day group trip, you will get to join me on some of the best slopes in the area.

I am a freeride would qualifier snowboarder. I have a lot of experience on all kinds of different slopes, including the ones in Hakuba. However, I am not a snowboarding instructor. That means I will not be conducting a class or outlining strict rules. Instead, my goal is for you to have a great time, while giving you tips and advice whenever I can.

There are 10 different ski resorts in the Hakuba area. Each one of them has their own collection of great runs and an assortment of lifts that can take you where you need to go. We will be riding within the boundaries of the chosen resort. Thus ensuring you will have an experience that will be both fun and secure.

Another added advantage of snowboarding at Hakuba is how connected it is to Tokyo and other major cities in Japan. So you should have no problem getting there.

In order to participate on this trip, you should be able to ride at an intermediate level. It is your responsibility to assess yourself and understand your own level.

Please note that you will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the trip. Also, for safety and liability reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
