Half-day Riding in Niseko with FWQ snowboarder Yumiko Ohta

Join me on this fantastic snowboarding adventure across Niseko. Let me show you some of my favorite spots on this wonderful place in Japan.

Niseko is, undoubtedly one of Japan’s top snowboarding destinations. Its fame comes from the unrivalled quality of the powder snow, as well as its dazzling sceneries. Here, we’ll be able to enjoy the best views of Mount Yotei (1,898 m).   

This winter wonderland is located in Hokkaido. And it offers different ski resorts, including:  Annupuri, Grand Hirafu, Hanazono and Niseko Village. So we’ll find the most ideal spots for our adventure together.

I am a Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) athlete. I’m also ranked 47th in the world and 4th in Japan! This means I need constant practice and the ideal conditions for my training. Thus, my choice if Niseko as one of the places I love riding through the most.

Let me share with you pro tips, as we explore this stunning location. However, please note that I am not an instructor, nor a mountain guide. Therefore, my focus will be on enjoying our time in Niseko, as we tackle some of its most thrilling slopes. Also, for security reasons, we’ll remain within the ski resort boundaries.
