Ride in Niseko with FWQ snowboarder Yumiko Ohta (Half-day)

I am a Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) athlete. I’m also ranked 4th in Japan and 47th in the world. Thus, I require constant practice and finding the best locations to snowboard. And Niseko is one of the best options when it comes to skiing and snowboarding.

The weather conditions in Niseko are unrivalled. Here there are frequent and heavy snow falls all throughout the winter. Hence, ensuring fresh powder snow on every run. Moreover, it offers thrilling descents, across almost vertical slopes that are long and exciting. Also, there are some fun tree runs across Niseko’s four connected ski resorts: Annupuri, Niseko Village Grand Hirafu and Hanazono.  

What’s more, the beauty of Niseko is incomparable. The views of Mount Yotai rising above Hokkaido at 1,898 meters, will simply take your breath away. Then exploring the town, will give you the chance to learn about its culture and history.

My goal for this trip will be for you to have a fantastic time here. However, I am not a tour guide, mountain guide, nor an instructor. Thus, we will remain within the ski resorts for the duration of our trip. However, since this is a private program, I will make sure we snowboard at your pace, so you can really take in the beauty of this place, and enjoy your time.
