Description
Looking for a first ski experience away from the ski resort? Join me on this 1-day ski touring adventure in the Community of Madrid!
The Community of Madrid is located in the center of Spain, and while it is often associated with the urban city life, it also boasts some great mountains!
This is the perfect scenery to get started on ski touring, a discipline that allows you to reach stunning locations away from the crowds and deep into the mountains.
We will begin this trip at 9 a.m. and finish around 3 p.m., giving you 5-6 hours of quality ski instruction. You will learn how to use technical equipment and improve your skiing skills.
To join this trip, you must have previous experience skiing in red and blue tracks, and a good physical condition.
I can take groups between 2-6 people at a time, and the prices shrink as numbers get bigger, so this could be the perfect activity to enjoy with loved ones!

He has more than 20 years doing mountain and skiing. From his early walks in La Pedriza to tens of alpine “four thousanders” summits ascended, to expeditions in North and South America, Caucasus and Central Asia, he has traveled many mountains, especially on his skis, since he is a fan of this sport in all disciplines. Mariano also enjoys classic climbing and mountaineering.
He has Mountain Guide and Ski Mountaineering Guide certifications from the AAGGM.
He's a great teacher and teaches with the same passion with which he enjoys the mountain. He speaks spanish, english, italian, french (basic) and russian (basic).

Fantastic winter ascent of Mulhacen together with guide Mariano Frutos in mid-January. Very warm and sunny day and extremely icy on the top but fantastic views all the way to the Moroccan Rif mountains. Few people on the mountain and a lot of Iberian mountain goats. Mariano was excellent and Pablo at Explore-Share made the logistics easy and straightforward as always.
