The rugged Rocky Mountains, extending through Alberta and British Columbia, are a defining feature of Canada. They have many tall peaks, consist of shale and limestone, and are surrounded by picturesque countryside, much of which has been incorporated into national parks and protected areas. About the Guide
I am an ACMG Rock Guide, I started guiding because I am very passionate about teaching people the technical side of climbing as well as the emotional achievements that come with challenging yourself and connecting with nature.
I have been climbing since I was a kid with my teddy bear clipped to my harness, and since then I have dedicated years to travelling, rock climbing, mountaineering, and improving my technical skills.
I have climbed El Capitan in Yosemite Valley 4 times, sent 5.12 in 5 different countries, and love combining the techniques from rock types around the world. I am also an Industrial Rope Access Technician and enjoy geeking out on the physics of rope systems.
