Lake Louise is located in the breathtaking Canadian wilderness, in the mountain setting of Banff National Park. With vast forests, high peaks, and stunning valleys, there is no shortage of natural inspiration. The remote yet accessible region features amazing sedimentary rock formations that are just begging to be climbed.
For these reasons, it is a top destination for world wide sports enthusiasts, who seek out this internationally renowned location for its isolation, terrain, and beauty. This is also a perfect place for beginners who are looking to cut their teeth on some scenic multi-pitch routes.
The limestone and shale climbs have bolted routes on excellent cliffs. There are longer and shorter ascents, depending on your schedule and interests. You can get lost in the exciting network of climbs in the nearby countryside.

I am an ACMG Rock Guide, I started guiding because I am very passionate about teaching people the technical side of climbing as well as the emotional achievements that come with challenging yourself and connecting with nature.
I have been climbing since I was a kid with my teddy bear clipped to my harness, and since then I have dedicated years to travelling, rock climbing, mountaineering, and improving my technical skills.
I have climbed El Capitan in Yosemite Valley 4 times, sent 5.12 in 5 different countries, and love combining the techniques from rock types around the world. I am also an Industrial Rope Access Technician and enjoy geeking out on the physics of rope systems.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
