Description

Join me on this day trip in Pasarela de Espeja. Let me guide you across one of the most beautiful and demanding via ferrata routes in the central area of Spain.

Pasarela de Espeja is located in the province of Soria, very close to Madrid. This dazzling place offers one of the best via ferratas in the country. Due to its location in a big and stunning gorge, it offers mesmerizing sceneries and different challenges.

Most of the via ferrata is within the Torca gorge. Here, we’ll find amazing sections that will surely inject us with the right dosage of adrenaline. There are patches where we’ll need to use our arm strength to pull ourselves up, as there won’t be any support for our feet. In other areas, we’ll find unique combinations of staples and pegs for us to step on. Also, we’ll find a nepalese bridge that will lead us back to the starting point. And there is even a zip line of more than 30 meters we simply can’t miss!

All of these features will make our ascent more fascinating. Moreover, the area has been renewed, offering new interesting features, and the best views in town. However, please note that even if the route is not complicated, it still requires a good fitness level, as it poses a physical challenge in certain parts of it.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
