Description

I invite you to join me for 1 or more days of riding on the spectacular powder of Nozawa Onsen. I am a Freeride World Qualifier athlete with 15 years of snowboarding experience and I know the Nozawa Onsen mountains like the back of my hand. I will show you around and give you some pro tips along the way!

This is a great opportunity to watch and learn first-hand how a professional athlete rides. If you are an advanced snowboarder, you can also see what lines I pick, and follow my track. Please note you need to have at least an intermediate level to join this tour.

Located near the city of Nagano and boasting a great diversity of terrain and abundance of snow, Nozawa Onsen is one of the most popular ski resorts in Japan. The charming village is also famous for the abundance of hot springs, making it one of the best destinations in Japan to combine great skiing or riding and a traditional onsen town experience.

During our tour, I’ll show you to some of my favorite spots in Nozawa Onsen, always within the ski area boundaries. As I am not an instructor or guide, the goal of our time together will just be to have fun and enjoy. Of course, I will provide you with tips and advice on riding whenever possible.

Please note you need to have at least an intermediate level to join this tour. Also, you will need to be able to assess your limitations for yourself, regarding what you can or cannot do. It will be your responsibility to ride at your own level!

I started snowboarding 15 years ago and mainly ride in the following areas in Japan: Niseko, Rishiri, all of Myoko, Nozawa Onsen, Hiroshima area, Kansai area and Tohoku area.
