1+ day Riding in Sapporo with FWQ snowboarder Yumiko Ohta

I am a Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) athlete, ranked 47th in the world and 4th in Japan. And I would love to invite you to this snowboarding adventure in Sapporo.

Sapporo is a beautiful ski resort located in the Hokkaido Prefecture. It offers such amazing conditions for winter sports, that in 1972 it hosted the Sapporo Olympic Games. So, when we ride together on this dazzling place, we’ll be enjoying some of the descents olympians once took. 

Some of the ski resorts we can explore in Sapporo include the famous Sapporo Teine Ski Resort, Bankei, Moiwayama, Kokusai and Takino Suzuran Hillside Park Snow World. Teine is famous as inside we’ll find two amazing spots, Olympia and Highland. Hence, even if we decide to stay in this single resort, the options will be endless.

Furthermore, it offers mesmerizing views of Sapporo, as well as the ocean, as it stands at more than 1,000 meters above sea level. Thus, the descents here, will certainly give us a good shot of adrenaline.

Also, this is a private trip. Therefore, we’ll get to ride along breathtaking sceneries by ourselves, and I’ll focus all my attention in you. However, please note I am not a certified mountain guide, nor a snowboarding instructor. Thus, we will stay within the ski resorts at all times for safety reasons. And, my goal will be for us to have a fantastic time as we explore this hypnotizing place in Japan.
