Description

Find out why Japan hosted the 1998 Winter Olympics and ski with an FWT skier in Hakuba! The incredible resorts of the northern Japanese Alps are a great place to share a fun experience skiing next to the world’s 60th-ranked skier!

Japan is one of the most sought-after destinations in the world, with cultural enrichment at every turn and fascinating scenery to accompany its tourists. The mountainous region on its main island, Honshu, is just as well known for its impressive skiing prowess. The mountain village of Hakuba has Olympic-caliber runs and resorts that can turn a great trip into the trip of a lifetime. This is where you (and I) come in!

I need a partner in crime to take on the epic slopes and slides of this fantastic town. Please join me in a day or more of unforgettable skiing across Hakuba. I am a Freeride World Tour skier currently ranked second in all of Japan and 60th in the world, so I will make sure you have a fun and satisfying time while you’re out on the mountain.

Hakuba is one of my favorite places to ski because the snow is some of the best in the world. It is light and dry, the kind of mesmerizing powder that can haunt your dreams long after you leave the island. The snowfall is equally generous, so you never have to worry about running out of it, even after a day or two of skiing.

I’m no instructor, but I’m more than happy to share some of the trade secrets I’ve discovered from years on the professional circuit. We will be within the boundaries of the resort the entire time, so I can fill you in on what lines and runs I select and why. Our time together will be an absolute blast!

This program is suited for intermediate-level skiers and above who are capable and willing to assess their own abilities on the slopes. You should have a moderate fitness level in the least, prepared for a few days of serious skiing with a real powder hound.

Book this program NOW and ski with a FWT professional on the high-quality Hakuba runs that boast some of the best routes in all of Japan and – dare I say – the world!
