Description

Taking two weeks to head out on the Annapurna base camp trek is one of the best decisions you will ever make!

Spend a day exploring Kathmandu, the capital, and see all of the city’s top attractions, including three different UNESCO World Heritage sites.

After this appetizer, it will be time for the main course and we will drive out to the Pokhara valley, where we will enjoy incredibly beautiful scenery and great views out toward the might Himalayas.

The rest of our trip will be spent hiking through the Himalayan foothills, crossing over rushing rivers, passing through thick bamboo, oak and rhododendron forest and visiting local mountain villages along the way.

Along with simply stunning views of Machhapuchhre, Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. The best views will be at the climax of the trip, once we have arrived at the Annapurna base camp.

We’ll be sure to spend plenty of time where the views are though, as numerous different villages along the way offer unique vantage points of Annapurna and the Himalayas.

We will also take time to get to know some of the local people, sharing in their way of life and eating local cuisine.

By the time the trip is over, you will be yearning to come back to Nepal in order to experience the majesty of the Himalayas once more.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
