The Sierra Gorda is a majestic biosphere reserve in the heart of the state of Queretaro, Mexico. This natural paradise guards some of the most incredible spots in the country. This marvelous experience in Central Mexico, combines the most thrilling hiking paths, along with stunning natural places. The Sierra Gorda is the perfect scenario for this trekking program. As we’ll explore turquoise rivers, spectacular waterfalls and hypnotizing caves.

Furthermore, this wonderful place is home of the surrealist garden of Edward James, with curious and breathtaking sculptures surrounded by natural beauties. So, after exploring this dream-like place, we will head to a 34 meter high waterfall nearby. Thereon, we’ll trek towards one of the most enchanting Pueblos Magicos, or magic towns in the state. Here, we will get to try the local delicacies and learn more about its culture.

Some of the activities we’ll do and places we will visit include hiking across rivers and visiting the Puente de Dios. Also, we’ll explore the Chuveje waterfall, along with the Edwards James Castle. Moreover,  we’ll get to see the Jalpan Mission and the Mirador de Cuatro Palos.
