Description

Are you looking for an awesome ski mountaineering adventure? Then come to the Graian Alps to climb and ski on Punta Adami and Uia di Ciamarella!

The Graian Alps are part of the western Alps, and are set in France (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), Switzerland (western Valais), and Italy (Piedmont and the Aosta Valley). With steep slopes, big amounts of snow, and amazing views, they are perfect for winter sport tours.

On this 2-day trip, we will meet in Balme, a comune in Turin, in the Italian region of Piedmont. My goal is to take you to the top of Punta Adami (3,160m) and Uia di Ciamarella (3,676 m), two popular peaks of the eastern Graian Alps. Once at the summits, we will ski on top quality powder snow away from the crowds!

Furthermore, we will spend a night in the Gastaldi mountain hut, surrounded by breathtaking alpine landscapes. For more information, check out the complete itinerary below.

Please note that this 2-day tour is only suitable for advanced skiers with mountaineering experience: the ascent requires the use of skins, crampons and ice axes. In addition, it is important to have a good fitness level.

So, if you want to combine skiing and mountaineering in a scenic region of Italy, please contact me. Come to Balme and discover the beauty of the Grain Alps!

I also offer similar experiences around the Matterhorn and the Gran Paradiso. Check out those programs!

Mountain Guide

I have been working as a mountain guide for more than ten years, and I still love my job very much! The great mountains of the Alps are my favorite playground: Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso are my favorite destinations.

Great summer ascents and magnificent ski mountaineering tours in winter and spring.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
