Description

Located in Lombardia, Italy, Mount Adamello is a beautiful mountain from the Adamello-Presanella Alps that reaches 3,539 meters above sea level. Due to its glaciers and snow conditions, it is a wonderful area to practice splitboarding and all kind of winter activities.

This time I’d like to invite you to a fantastic 2-day tour which starts with an ascent on splitboards to our mountain hut via the Adamello Glacier. Once we reach the Rifugio Caduti dell’Adamello, we’ll stay there to enjoy a delicious Italian dinner and spend the night.

On day 2, we’ll finally conquer the Mount Adamello’s summit. Then, we’ll go down the Passo Venezia (3,226 m) through the glacier and descend to the Pisgana Glacier.

If you want to be part of this tour, I recommend you to have some prior splitboarding experience as well as a very good physical condition.

Mountain Guide

I am a young Italian UIAGM - UVGAM guide and I live the mountain in all its aspects.

I love being in the mountains during every period of the year and I think each season is special and give us the possibility to discover a different side of the mountain: freeride skiing and ice climbing in winter, ski touring and ice/mixed routes in spring, rock climbing and trekking/alpinism in summer and autumn. Each experience lived in the mountain is unique and for me it is a real pleasure to help and assist people living something that sometimes is almost like a dream.

I speak fluently Italian, English, French and Spanish.
