Highlights

Come with me on this 2-day trekking in Alpujarras and discover this Spanish hiker’s paradise!

This snowy mountain range is located in the region of Andalusia, in the province of Granada. Alpujarras is an ideal place for exploring nature’s beauty and enjoying its breathtaking landscapes.

My proposal is to cross the Sierra Nevada by starting on the south slope of Hoya del Portillo. From there, we will start our trekking from Alpujarras and direct ourselves to the highest peaks in the region.

During these two days, we will be ascending the two highest peaks of Sierra Nevada, Mount Mulhacén (3482 meters) and Mount Veleta (3396 meters).

And after spending one night at the Poqueira mountain hut, located at 2500 meters, our two-day adventure will finish with a comfortable descent all the way down from Mount Veleta to Hoya de la Mora.

Our trek will end on the northern slope of Hoya de la Mora, the closest spot to the capital of Andalusia, Granada.

Some mountaineering experience will be necessary as well as having a good physical condition. Remember that on our second day we will be trekking for almost 10 hours.

If you want to join me on this guided two-day trekking, request to book this trip!

If you wish to do another trekking in Sierra Nevada, you can also join me on this Mulhacen (3482 meters) 2 day guided ascent.
