Would you like to discover a scenic region of Panama and learn the basics of rock climbing? Then follow an expert guide on our team for a 3-day course in Boquete!

Boquete is a small mountain town in the province of Chiriquí, in western Panama. Its unique landscape features the Caldera River, the Volcán Barú (3,475m), and beautiful green hills such as Cerro Punta. Due to its several rock formations, this village is the center of rock climbing and rappelling in Panama.

On this 3-day course, you will step into the thrilling world of rock climbing. The goal is to teach you “level 1” skills: climbing and rappelling techniques, gear usage, knots, grades, security and types of rock. Furthermore, we will combine theory with action! Some of the routes that we can try are “La Frontera, “King’s Throne” and “The Matrix”.

Please note that our course doesn’t require previous climbing experience. However, keep in mind that rock climbing is recommended for people with a good fitness level.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
