Description

Would you like to visit a breathtaking area of Panama and improve your rock climbing skills? Then come to Boquete and join a member of our team for a 3-day intermediate course!

Boquete is a scenic village dominated by the Chiriquí Highlands and the Barú Volcano National Park. Due to its beautiful rock formations, mainly composed of volcanic basalt, it is also Panama’s rock climbing mecca.

This 3-day course is aimed at beginners looking to step forward and take their climbing to the next level. We will focus on “Lead Climbing” working on gear preparation, safety practices, belaying techniques, and draws and anchor systems, among other skills. Every day we will practice on amazing routes such as “La Frontera”, “King’s Throne” and “El Camino Negro”.

Please note that this trip requires some climbing experience: we will head up routes with difficulties ranging from 5.6 to 5.8. Furthermore, you should have a good fitness level.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
