Are you looking for challenging multi-pitch route in Central America? Then come to Panama and let one of our guides take you to Piedra de Lino, a famous rocky mountain in Boquete!

The mountain village of Boquete is one of Panama’s premium rock climbing areas. It is surrounded by the Chiriquí Highlands and the Barú Volcano National Park, with huge vertical towers and a scenic landscape. Its rock formations are mainly composed of volcanic basalt and offer excellent climbing possibilities.

On this half-day tour, we will climb a famous cliff called Piedra de Lino. After a 30-45m hike through a coffee farm, we’ll reach the top of this impressive rock formation with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Then we’ll rappel down and head up any of its exposed multi-pitch routes!

Please note that this trip requires at least intermediate rock climbing skills: the difficulty of these routes ranges between (5.11a) and (5.12a). Furthermore, keep in mind that you should have a good fitness level: we’ll hike, rappel and climb at an altitude of 1,690m.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
