Description
Close to the Adriatic Sea in western Croatia is the picturesque Paklenica National Park, which is packed full of natural treasures that can be explored in many ways.
Home to the two impressive canyons of Mala (Small) Paklenica and Velika (Big) Paklenica, they connect to the southern slopes of the Velebit mountain range, which is part of the larger Dinaric Alps.
The park is populated with scenic karst spires and sculptures, rising from the mountain meadows and forested valleys. For this reason it is considered one of the top climbing areas in Europe.
This 3-day adventure is your chance to choose which activities you wish to do, either rock climbing, mountaineering, hiking or a combination.
We will be able to visit a bundle of places from piercing mountain peaks within charming valleys to impressive rivers and cultural attractions.
Because you’re able to choose and mix the outdoor sports, this 3-day exploration is great for groups and families.
There are approximately 400 climbing routes ranging in difficulty and length, with the season stretching from early spring to late autumn.

Price details
Price includes: Guiding fee and rental of personal technical equipment (hiking poles, a climbing belt, a helmet, etc.) The price does not include: Transport during the trip and from your hotel to the meeting place and back to your hotel, and it must be paid in cash upon arrival (10 – 60 EUR per person). The half-board accommodation in an apartment or hotel for guides and clients is not included in the price.

I am the founder of the Gotrek Hiking Company, an outdoor adventure company that offers qualified and professional mountain guiding to domestic and foreign guests and tourists in Slovenia, Italy, Croatia and all over Europe. All climbing, training, trekking, hiking and snowshoeing tours are guided by CMGA certified (Croatian Mountain Guide Association) and UIMLA guide.
I live in Slovenia, a country where mountaineering is a way of life. My team of UIMLA and CMGA guides and instructors works and lives in Slovenia or Croatia. If I am not available to guide you, one of the experienced guides in my team will be your guide.
We organize mountain experiences in all seasons in the European Alps, the Dolomites, Carnic Alps the Slovenian Julian Alps, Triglav National Park, Kamnik - Savinja Alps and the territory of Croatia, Velebit, NP Paklenica, and the islands in the Adriatic sea.
